Since then, life has been a flurry of activity, culminating in a job offer at Tesla Motors in firmware engineering for Autopilot. I'm a Tesla superfan and a Model S owner, so this is a dream job for me. Although my wife and I could have flown out to our new home in California, we decided that a cross-country road trip in a Tesla to go work for Tesla was too much of an opportunity to pass up.We'll be crossing the country on the Tesla Supercharger network and blogging our journey on the way. We're traveling from Maryland with our dog, Gambol. Approximately T-2 hours to launch. Stay tuned!
